Philosophy
Personal training for me is about fitness for the purpose of longevity, injury prevention, and a better quality of life. No matter what your current condition or knowledge level, everyone can benefit from the professional services of a personal trainer. I firmly believe that proper fitness isn't just about the how, but also about the why and the when. Building a stronger, leaner, lighter and more attractive body comes from a detailed, informative, structured, and varied fitness routine centered on sound diet and nutrition. Through my experience running a private training company, working in a fast-paced full service gym, my degree certificate from Bellingham Technical College, and my continuing education through The National Federation of Professional Trainers, I have had a broad range of experiences from which to draw from. Whether you're recovering from an injury, wanting to lose weight, gain weight, or just want to increase overall strength and an understanding of fitness, I have the knowledge and experience to show you how to reach your goals.

Philosophy
When done correctly, exercise can increase lung capacity, relieve tension, signal spring and power from the foot up, and relieve many aches and pains caused by misuse, stress, and other detrimental lifestyle factors. My approach to fitness begins with evaluating the position and functionality of the body. Each exercise program I design works the body completely and efficiently, which allows one to stay fit within a very reasonable time commitment. My personal life revolves around technique, strength, and endurance based activities including dance, Kung Fu, rock climbing, skiing, and running and I use these influences to come up with creative, fun exercises. However, it is my own personal experience and ultimate success with a major injury and two surgeries that has given me the particular experience, knowledge and excitement for my work, which is not easily obtained through traditional classes and certifications.

Michael Allan

Bio
Michael Allan attended Whitworth University in Spokane, WA where he was a two-year All-American football player. He was drafted into the NFL in the 7th round by the Kansas City Chiefs. He has since played for the California Redwoods of the United Football League and the Seattle Seahawks. Michael has a passion for athletic and sport-specific training and has continued his education with an ISSA certification. He desires to bring out the true athlete in everyone and believes that getting in shape is meant to be an exciting and convenient process. It is time to get serious...but remember to have fun
